Anupa Gardner
Anupa Gardner is a Scottish / Indian artist based in Edinburgh with a primary focus on printmaking. Her work is influenced by her lived experiences, weaving together themes of everyday life, memory, fantasy, and nature. While she is passionate about the technical and creative aspects of print, Anupa also explores other mediums, including painting and ceramics.
Anupa's artistic practice is centered around how people engage with the world, the connections we share with one another, our relationship with nature, and the spaces we inhabit.
Anupa finds inspiration in the beauty and magic of the mundane, always seeking that fleeting moment of human connection, whether with another person or a place.
These themes often form the heart of her prints, which are frequently infused with narrative elements, adding layers of storytelling to her work. She is a member of Edinburgh Printmakers and her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
