The 143rd Royal Ulster Academy Annual Exhibition, Belfast UK
The Royal Ulster Academy’s annual exhibition stands as a highlight of Northern Ireland’s cultural calendar. This celebrated event offers a distinctive platform for both renowned artists and emerging talents to display their creations in their national museum. Visitors can explore a diverse array of visual arts, including painting, sculpture, audiovisual works, ceramics, textiles, and mixed media. In addition to pieces by RUA Academicians, the exhibition features works from 200 artists worldwide, selected through an open submission process.
Established in 1879, the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts is Northern Ireland’s largest and longest-standing association of visual artists. A core founding principle of the Academy is the organisation and promotion of an annual exhibition showcasing works by both members and non-members alike.
This exhibition is on display in Art Gallery 6 from 18 October 2024 – 5 January 2025. Free to attend and no booking necessary
