Karl Hagan

Karl graduated from Ulster University, Belfast in 2018 with a First Class Honours (Fine Art Painting) and is now working on his MA Fine Art at UAL Central Saint Martins. He is drawn to paint people and places he simply has enjoyed in the past, or has some form of comfort from being in.

Karl’s paintings follow an investigation into the dual nature of human existence.

We know Karl and have been to his gallery in Belfast several times, to see work in progress and his large-scale paintings that are truly magnificient. We own several smaller pieces in our own collections, and have worked with Karl on a new much larger canvas that will be on show here later in the year
